LENTEN STUDY SERIES

Our Lenten study series, titled The Wild Goose, will be a seven-week series beginning Feb. 10 here at St. Patrick. “Wild Goose” was a term that the ancient Celts had for the Holy Spirit. This series features Fr. Dave Pivonka and various interviews. Shot in various locations from Niagara Falls to the California desert, The Wild Goose invites viewers to an encounter, or a renewed encounter, with the Holy Spirit.

We divided the series into 7 episodes in the Fall and 7 episodes during Lent. If you couldn’t attend in the Fall, we can get you information on how to watch the first seven episodes. The study series will be held in the Youth Center next to the Lower-Level Gym.

We are meeting in the Youth Center to provide a better setting for everyone to participate in the discussion.

The series starts on Feb. 10 and ends on March 31. The sessions will take place 3 times each week:

  • Tuesday 9:45 am to 11:00 am;
  • Tuesday 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm;
  • Thursday 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm.

(Due to the Parish Mission, we will not have the study on March 24, and will show the last episode on March 31).

You don’t have to attend the same session every week or sign up for a specific session. The study guide will be handed out at each session, so no studying beforehand. There is no fee to attend. We do ask that you register so we can plan accordingly.
