Donate, volunteer to help with poinsettia deliveries
On December 1st and 2nd, volunteers will be delivering poinsettias to parishioners who are homebound, in nursing homes, or who have lost a family member. St. Patrick’s has been delivering these poinsettias for many years and this year will help over 145 people celebrate the holiday season. St. Patrick School students will also be making Christmas cards that will be delivered with the poinsettias.
You can help us with this project in two ways. Donations are needed to help cover the cost of the poinsettias, and volunteers are needed to help deliver the plants on December 1st and 2nd. Please help us to show our love for those who have given so much to our parish community. Checks can be made out to St. Patrick Catholic Church. Write “Poinsettias” in the memo or make sure you designate Poinsettias with your donation. Call the church office at 319-266-3523 or email Deacon Al Weber at aweber@saintpatrickcf.org to find out how to help.
