2 Volunteer Opportunities

Our jr. high teens and service adventure participants have established a great tradition and are welcome to help on Fridays from 5:00 until about 7:00 - 7:30 pm. The teens will get dinner and our Jr. High Youth Ministry program and Eyes Wide Open Service Adventure gets a boost through the efforts of our dedicated teens. The work is fun and easy and the food is GREAT!.
This is a wonderful way to make new friends and meet parishioners. Let me know if you can help, or, contact Jeff Byers at 230-9830 or Brian Luecke at <sbluecke@gmail.com> if you have questions. This opportunity is available every Friday during Lent. Our goal is to get 10 teens to help each week. Parents are welcome too! Thank you for encouraging your teen to get involved at the parish!

There is a need for 6 individuals to provide child care during the St. Patrick Shamrock Shuffle on April 9th. Child care is provided on the school playground while parents participate in the 5k run/walk. The volunteers are needed from 8:45 am until approximately 10:00 am. This is a fun and easy way to get service hour time. Anyone who is interested can leave a message for Carolyn Lee at the Parish office at 266-3523.

Getaway Weekend

9th grade girls who are interested in joining us for the "Girls Get-Away" on March 26 and 27 will need to return their registration form by Monday, March 21. Information about the boys trip will be sent out ASAP.

Small Groups

9th Grade Schedule Change! The Sunday small group will meet on Sunday, April 3 and the Wednesday small groups will meet as usual on Wednesday, April 6. All 9th grade small groups meet from 7 to 9. 9th grade will not meet on Wednesday, April 13.

Cell Phones

Cell phones seem to be a lifeline for our teens and it can be difficult for our teens to take time away from them. Our small group meeting locations are equipped with phones if your teen needs to reach you. Please ask your 9th grade teen to leave their cell phone at home when they come to small group. We encounter so many distractions in our daily lives and small group time can provide a break from all the "busy"ness.
