Minutes of the previous council meetings were approved.
Old Business:
Schedule Change – For the month of December, Parish Council will move their meeting to December 5th and meet with the Board of Education at 7:00.
New Business:
October Mass Counts - Begins the first full weekend in October. 2 people scheduled to count at each Mass. Counters required to get their own substitutes if needed.

Committee Feedback - There was a positive response from our committees to promote announcements of parish happenings on a monthly basis. Paul DiMarco will submit a proposal on the procedures.
Pastor’s Report – Hand out and discussion regarding generational differences and worship. Ideas on how to reach our young adults more effectively.
Deanery Report – Discussion on Evangelism. How to welcome and invite people back to Church. Future discussions are planned.
Committee Reports
Social Concerns – Switched twin parishes for Hurricane Katrina support. New parish is St. Thomas of Long Beach in Mississippi.
Judy Moody’s Outreach position has not been filled. Pursuing making this a part-time paid position.
Parish Life – Minutes submitted. Fall festival plans are on schedule.
Finance & Administration – No Meeting
Liturgy & Spiritual – Minutes submitted.
Board of Education – 3 year goals pertaining to our parish vision: Programming will be established specifically to serve the spiritual needs of young adults in our parish. Board members will encourage all committees to reach out to young adults when looking for committee members, volunteers, special projects.
